Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is animal communication?
Animal communication is an intuitive process that allows me to connect with your pet’s thoughts, feelings, and energy. This helps you understand your pet's emotional and physical needs, address behavioral issues, and strengthen your bond.
  • What types of animals can you communicate with?
I’ve talked to a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, horses, cows, and pigs. I must have the owner’s permission before I communicate with an animal.
  • My pet is timid and afraid of strangers. Will that affect the communication?
Part of my preparation work for your session is to introduce myself to your pet and explain that I have their owner’s permission to communicate with them. I encourage the pets to think of questions they have their owners, and this usually opens up the communication. They have a lot they want to share with you! Shy animals may take a bit longer, but patience and compassion are key components of my approach. For in-person sessions, I connect with the animal energy, so I don't need to touch your animal if this causes them stress.
  • Can you help with my pet’s health issues?
While I am not a veterinarian, I can provide insights into your pet’s well-being and suggest supportive actions to improve their health. When needed, sessions may also include energy healing for animals. Always consult with a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns. I'm open to working with open-minded veterinarians.
  • How does an animal communication session work?
During a session, I tune in to your pet’s energy and communicate telepathically. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, receive messages, and gain insights into their feelings, behaviors, and needs. Sessions can be conducted in person or via Zoom.
  • How do you know if my pet is telling you the truth?
I recognize that pets, like people, can sometimes be less than honest. This may happen because they are trying to protect themselves or their owners, or even being playful, especially when asked about a sibling pet. Through my work I'm able to identify inconsistencies and seek more accurate information to ensure clear communication with your pet.
  • Can you talk to multiple pets in one session?
Yes, I can communicate with more than one animal in a single session. For more than two pets, additional time might be needed depending on how detailed you want the session to be. Please contact me to discuss the best approach for your situation.
  • How soon after my pet has passed away can I connect with them?
A: Yes, I can connect with pets who have crossed over to provide owners comfort and understanding. For clearer and more accurate messages, it’s best to wait at least 2-3 weeks after the animal has crossed over. This waiting period allows your pet the time to process the transition, making the communication more meaningful and effective. If you feel the need to connect with your pet sooner, please contact me to discuss possible arrangements.
  • How can animal communication correct unwanted behaviours?
Animal communication helps you understand the underlying reason for your pet's behaviours. Sometimes, once a message is relied to the pet, the behaviour improvements. However, most of the time, simply talking to your pet does not result in immediate change. A unique action plan for your pet will be provided to assist you in correcting the unwanted behaviour. In some cases the assistance of a professional dog trainer might be recommended.
  • How does the communication process work for pet owners in Metro Vancouver, and is there a difference between in-person and online sessions?
A: The process of communicating with your pet is fundamentally the same whether done in person or online. However, in-person sessions can sometimes be quicker for me to interpret the messages that animals provide about their environment. This can be particularly useful for addressing specific behavioural issues. For clients in the Metro Vancouver area, you have the flexibility to choose the option that is most convenient for you.
  • How should I prepare for a session?
Find a quiet and comfortable space for the session. It’s helpful to make a list of questions beforehand so you don’t forget to ask anything. You don’t need to share the list with me; it’s just for your reference. Once you've booked a session, I will ask for a photo of your pet with a clear view of their face. I use this photo to connect with your pet before the start of our session. I do a quick check-in with them and prepare them for the session.
  • Can you help locate a lost pet?
I understand the distress and urgency that come with a lost pet. I accept lost pet searches on a case-by-case basis, focusing on early intervention to increase the chances of a successful outcome. The sooner I assist in the search, the better the possible outcome. I’m open to working with professional pet search companies. My role can include providing valuable insights into drone search areas by leveraging information gained through communication with your pet. Additionally, if safe and appropriate requesting your pet to remain in one location to ease with the search efforts. If you are interested in having me assist with a lost pet, please send an email with EMERGENCY LOST PET in the subject line.
